SIMPLE SKETCHES

These sketches combine my passion for design and the love I have for my family and friends. Through these simple line drawings, I sought to encapsulate who these people are and what they mean to me.

SAM
Sam was my freshman roommate and first college friend. Hailing from San Francisco, he’s one of the most easygoing people I know—a calm counterbalance to my typical New York stress, always reminding me to slow down and not sweat the small stuff.
CHAD
Chad and I hit it off from the first day we met in college and he quickly became one of my best friends. We were always attached at the hip and never ran out of things to do or talk about. Despite our bickering every other day, my experience in living with Chad and Sam in college is something I will cherish forever.

CATIE
From the day I met Catie my first year at Marist, she has never failed to steal the show and make an entrance wherever she may be. Whether that means rolling an ankle upon her arrival, dropping coffee on her shirt before an important outing, or telling stories in a way that has me laughing in tears, Catie always makes her presence known and I am happy to know her.
DANNY
Danny has been my best friend since the first grade. Throughout our childhoods, we were in every class of elementary school together, always played baseball on the same teams, and were each other's sidekick. Even when life gets in the way, I always look forward to catching up on new stories and picking up right where we left off. Danny never fails to amaze me with his drive for bettering himself in every way possible and he inspires me to pursue my passions.

CHELSEA, EMMA & JEAN
Emma, Jean and Chelsea are a trio that never fails to brighten my day. I talk to them nearly every day and our conversations never disappoint. They are friends I am so happy to have gone through every step of life with and know I can always count on. Most importantly, we are the funniest people we've ever met and no one can convince us otherwise.
DONNA & DEVIN
Donna is my older sister and a huge role model in my life. I have always looked up to her, as her strong work ethic and caring nature define her character. She has aimed to make a difference in helping the people around her by becoming a registered dietitian treating eating disorders. She met her husband, Devin, her senior year at Marist and he instantly became a part of our family. They always offer great advice, make me laugh, and are not so bad to third-wheel with either.

MOM & DAD
Throughout my life, my parents have always been my biggest supporters and have always pushed me to try new things. Whether that was my dad coaching my baseball team, or my mom prying me off her leg to drop me off for pre-school, they have always been there as a safety net to help me get back up if at first, I didn't succeed. They also inflate my ego by thinking I am the smartest, funniest, most handsome person to ever walk the earth. I am thankful to always have them in my corner and am proud to have been raised by them.
